The feud between royal siblings Prince William and Prince Harry continues apace, with no sign of a stalemate despite the brothers recently reuniting at the statue unveiling in honor of their late mother, Princess Diana. Prior to that event, William and Harry notably came to verbal blows at the funeral for their grandfather, Prince Philip. As Robert Lacey, royal historian and author of “Battle of Brothers,” noted in a piece for the Daily Mail, although there was hope that the event would help mend their rift, things immediately took a turn for the worse and the warring duo began arguing “within minutes of the siblings getting inside the castle and beyond camera vision.”
William and Harry were spotted “quarreling,” with a family friend even going so far as to describe the previously close brothers as being “at each other’s throats as fiercely as ever,” thanks to the deep well of resentment between them. According to the insider, “Too many harsh and wounding things have been said,” which made the expected reconciliation impossible. Lacey even opined there was no hope in sight of the feud ending. Things have soured further with the announcement of Harry’s upcoming tell-all memoir, with a relationship expert advising Express that, the longer this goes on, the harder the relationship will be to fix. William and Harry are still far from working things out

William and Harry attended the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace on July 1, 2021, for the official unveiling of Diana’s statue, which was revealed on what would’ve been her 60th birthday. It was only the second time the warring siblings had been in the same place since Harry spectacularly defected from the monarchy last year, alongside wife Meghan Markle.
The brothers made a joint statement on the day and were even photographed speaking amiably, which was far removed from the tense atmosphere at Prince Philip’s funeral, but it doesn’t seem they’ve made much progress since. As far as Bullen is concerned, the once-close siblings will continue living separate lives for the foreseeable future.
